‘High Resolution’ Works

Background
Recently I have been making some experimental digital works. They are large moving images but as a preview I have included links to stills here.

They are very High Resolution movies (this in contrast to ‘High Definition’ video). These are collages about how people live in cities and in some ways they are digital echoes of my early paintings.

On this page are 2 new pieces made in collaboration with Jocelyn Cammack.
This is a mini series called ‘Bedlam’ shot in and around Liverpool Street Station and the Great Eastern Hotel in London. This area is on the site of the first Bethlehem Hospital founded in 1247 (by the time the hospital moved to Moorfields in 1676 it was commonly referred to as ‘Bedlam’).

The others are earlier pieces made in Taipei during my residency there.

These works are meant to be viewed on High Resolution TFT monitors -
and hung on the wall like paintings.
